I live in South Africa, where it never snows, or at least I think the last time it snowed in Johannesburg was 1984 and it wasn't anywhere near enough to even cover the ground! Reading Thomas's book I'll Never Be Long Gone was like experiencing the wonder and beauty of snow firsthand. What a pleasure, and I didn't even have to buy a plane ticket!
